UNR to bee-come pesticide free.

Meeting with UNR! Pesticide free campus in Reno.
UNR pesticide free
Sarah Mahler has us scheduled on 9/11/14 at 1 pm 1303 Evans Ave we will be meeting with Assistant Director For ground services Marty Sillito to discuss what chemicals- herbicides, pesticides are being used on campus and how we can help to decrease their use!
Marty did say we have plenty of time to change the exact time if necessary, email is msillito@unr.edu.
We need about 5 people to show up. If you cannot make it, DO you know someone who would like to be apart of converting UNR to pesticide free?
“A study conducted by the University of Iowa in 2014 stated that about 500,000 men and women get cancer from being exposed to chemicals, such as pesticides, and the number is increasing.” http://theroundupnews.com/2014/06/06/opinion-dangers-pesticides-campus/
